Toronto Harvest Missionary Church
New Building Dedication Service
Sunday August 7th, 2005 is an unforgettable day to many, especially to Toronto Harvest Missionary Church. This was the day that everyone was longing to see.
The opening ceremony of the new church was scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. sharp on Sunday August 07th, 2005. It was joyful to see many waiting around the church patiently with big smiles on their faces to see the moment. The overwhelming joy on everyone's face revealed how happy and eager they were to see their hope being fulfilled after many years.
Even though it was very hot outside, the people including the small children to the elderly waited patiently.
For a long period of time everyone was looking forward for this day. A multitude of people from all over the place including many mighty servants of God came from oversees.
At 2:00 p.m., everyone in the congregation sang songs, and praised the Lord. Pastor Raju Jesudason, the assistant pastor of the Toronto Harvest Missionary Church and the congregation thanked God for the new building and prayed for it. What a glorious moment! The sound of the trumpet and the horn filled the hearts of people, the people started singing and thanking God for making it possible to see this day. Following this, the Senior Pastor Rev. Vincent Sahayanathan cut the ribbon and entered into the church along with the servants of God, and the crowd followed after them.
Many servants of God from various countries came and took part on this day. Bro. Mohan C. Lazarus, his wife Sis. Joyce Lazarus came from Jesus Redeems Ministry, India. Pastor Gnanam Ambrose from “Jesus Gives Life, Divine Love Minsitry” Sri Lanka, Many Tamil and Canadian Pastors from Toronto and others from Germany, and U.S.
The songs of the choir, the special songs, the greetings, the Blessings and the speech that was spoken by each servants of God was very encouraging.
When looking at this new church, there is absolutely no doubt that the Almighty Lord will use this place to bring blessing, restoration, joy and rest to many living in the city. Surely, the name of the Lord will be glorified.
We give God all the glory, power, and praise for He had made it possible for us to see this day.
We thank everyone that joined with us on this day and we invite those of you that did not make it to come and receive the blessings from God and see what the Lord has done.
