SERVICES OF THMC
"Go
into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news, the
Gospel, to every creature of the whole human race" - Mark 16:15.
Accordingly, THMC's services include;
Toronto
Sunday services
Time : 9.30 a.m. at
Place :
1180 Bellamy Road North,
Scarborough
(Bellamy & Progress)
1st Sunday -
Holy Communion Services are being held on first Sundays of each month.
These services, considering particularly the younger generations, are
held in both English and Tamil languages, and special prayers are
conducted for the blessings of children and youngsters.
2nd Sunday - Spiritual
Healing Services are held on second Sundays of each month. "they shall
lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover" - Mark 16:18.
Accordingly, these services are dedicated to those who suffer from ill
health and all kinds of sicknesses. It is Lord's wish that His
creations live in this world with happiness, contentment, and free from
all clutches of evil. "He went about doing good and, in particular,
curing all who were harassed and oppresses by the power of the devil" -
Acts 10:38. In accordance with these words of God, THMC conducts
Spiritual Healing Services. The Lord made us to witness many of his
miraculous healings in these services, which are beyond human
understandings. Many who attended these services understood Lord's
grace, mercy and his path to salvation; many were consecrated and
purified; and relieved from the bondage of evil.
Other Sundays - Services are dedicated for spiritual attainments, deliverance, and for His blessings and mercies.

is that - the Word of God is alive! The Word can really affect and have
a life-changing impact on day-today living. God reveals Himself through
His Words. The intention of these prayer meetings is not only for
members to grow strong in Words of God but also to reveal Jesus Christ
as the Lord to those who seek. Cell groups, originally started with few
families, continue to grow. Currently cell groups are arranged at the
following venues;

Dedicated to THMC youths. Prayers are held not
only for THMC youths but also to out-reach other youths, who are still
to realize Jesus as their Lord. We witness that many youths become
trapped by worldly and bodily desires and suffer in slavery of Satan.
THMC youths, with the blessings of the Lord, are determined to rescue
those who suffer and make them as witnesses in the Lord's kingdom.
Children's ministry
Jesus
loves children. "Allow the children to come to Me ; do not forbid or
prevent or hinder them ; for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Mark
10:14). Unless their attentions are directed towards God, children
become vulnerable to be corrupted. This ministry conducts Sunday's
schools for children so that they understand and follow Christian's way
of living.
Bible study
The
intention is to teach gospel to those who seek and are willing to be
dedicated to ministry. This program is planned to complete the entire
bible study before end of this year.

To engage in ministry activities and support initiatives,
To understand the process and procedure of conducting cell groups, and
To console and advise those who are in need of mental and psychological support.
Gospel meetings
Special
meetings are arranged every year for occasions such as Easter,
Christmas, THMC's anniversaries, etc. Some meetings are arranged in
grand scale, which may span for over 3 - 4 days, and held mainly at the
church at 869 Progress Avenue, Scarborough. However such meetings are
also held, if required, at other areas. The purpose of these meetings
is to reach as many people as possible with words of God and teach path
of their salvation.
In order to reach as many
people as possible, we advertise about these meetings through radio,
newspapers, posters, and notices. Lord blessed these efforts by
bringing many people into His path of salvation. (Rom.10-13:15)
Preaching the gospel
We make every possible efforts to reach everyone, in particular those
who suffer from sickness, problems, depression and all clutches of
evil, in every corner with words of God and preach gospel to them.
We reach them at their homes, hospitals and even in prison cells.
Accordingly, many are being brought into His salvation, and we are very
happy to witness many being cured from their sicknesses and every
sufferings and being harvested to His kingdom. The Lord loves this
harvest, and "He who wishes all men to be saved and increasingly to
perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the
divine truth" (1Tim. 2:4).
THMC also arranges transport facility for those who lack transportation
facility to come to church for Sunday mass and prayer meetings. THMC
provides it's own bus service for this purpose and also church members
use their own vehicles to provide such services to those in need.

Prayer Journey
As
we prayed to the Lord for direction this year, He that, "Take a prayer
team and pray around the City of Toronto as well as the neighboring
cities.
In obedience, we have been doing this since January.
We
have divided these prayer teams into five different territories and
appointed a leader for each territory. Prayer teams move throughout the
territory for two hours in a non-stop prayer journey. God gave us this
strategy to achieve His goal to pray for this whole area.
God,
in His Mercy, wants to save the City and the people. For this reason He
asked us to do this so that the strong man will be bound, demonic
hindrances removed and the captives set free.
God, give us the City of Toronto and its inhabitants!!!
MISSION - SRI LANKA

As
part of the Mission work, special meetings were held in Sri Lanka at
Nuwarelya to spread the good news to the people living on the hill
side. The meetings were held from September 27th to October 4th by Rev.
Vincent Sahayanathan Senior Pastor of Toronto Harvest Missionary Church
.

Many
people that lived in Nuwarelya and the surrounding areas attended this
meeting. The people found out the love of God and accepted Jesus Christ
as their savior. Many that came with sickness and problems in their
lives were touched by the power of God and were delivered from sickness
and problems.
Glory be to God.

T.H.M.C. "Tsunami Helping Hand Project" Video Clip
"Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly
unto the Lord; and Samuel cried unto the Lord for Israel (1 Samuel
7:9)".
Over the last nineteen years, continuing civil unrest and ethnic
conflicts caused general public in Sri Lanka to suffer severely with
poverty, sicknesses, and loss of almost entire civil structure. Our
people lost love, happiness, peace and their hopes of better future but
only cared to be just alive day by day.
Why did this happen to this country? The Holy Bible says, "My people
are destroyed for lack of knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou
shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy
God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)". The people did not
have the revelation of the living God, hence couldn't reap divine
benefits and the country has gone into the path of destruction.
This is NOT what our Lord's wishes. He loves His creations as He is the
creator. Peace, harmony and freedom to this country could only come
from Him and by Him. Hence this country should become aware of Him and
receive Him as the Lord. THMC, ever since it started, undertakes
tremendous efforts to create such awareness and prays for the salvation
of this country.
What is the current status of this country? People are in desperate
state and infrastructure is beyond repair. People in many villages have
still not even heard the word "Jesus". People are simply concerned
about earning their daily bread than anything else and their living is
very much of hand to mouth. Under these conditions, it has almost
become humanly impossible for the ministries to continue with Go d's services.
However,
these ministers placed their trust in their faith and decided their
lives to be fully dedicated for Lord's services. They, trusting in
their unshaken faith, strongly believed that He would look after their
needs, while they are committed to His services. This may seem a very
strange believe but He did respond with His grace to their believe.
This is the time that Lord spoke to us and instigated us to do more
than just praying for and preaching gospel to these people. At the
beginning,
THMC
committed to support 30 ministers and their ministries, 4 orphans, and
a widow. This commitment continues to grow further, praise the Lord.
Because of our support, these ministries and the ministers are able to
continue with God's services without worrying about their daily needs.
Our support only relieves them from their minimum daily needs but they
still have to go through enormous difficulties in providing ministerial
services. These ministers also expressed their appreciation of our
timely support. Praise the Lord. Currently ministers and ministries are
active and the people are willing to accept Jesus as the Lord and reap
divine salvation. We trust and believe that our Lord will enable us at
THMC to not only continue with our current support but also to extend
to more ministries in Sri Lanka. We will continue to pray.
Support for ministers
committed at least for the next three years;
Monthly financial assistance to ministers who are fully dedicated, and
Assist in establishing new ministries - with the association of pastors
in Sri Lanka, financially and otherwise encourage ministers to
establish new ministries in villages.
Accordingly, we are currently supporting 70 ministers and their respective ministries.
Gospel crusades
Conduct
gospel meetings and crusades in large scale, at least once a year - we,
with pastors particularly from Europe, USA, and India, as a group
conduct gospel meetings, crusades and conventions in war torn areas.
Accordingly we had a "Come Let us Build" Pastors Conference - 2004 in
the month of January 2004 at Vavuniya City Northern province of Sri
Lanka.
Maintenance of orphanage
Assist
in maintenance of orphanage and help bring up those children as
valuable members of future generation. Accordingly we currently support
28 children.
Let all be as per the will of our Lord. Prayer is the secret of every success.
